Great sound quality and power on their MClass highs amps, decent on their budget AB amps. D class don't sound as good as some, but are much more powerful, and sound better than others, but are much weaker.

Memphis is kind of a fence-riding brand in that way. The majority of their products appeal to (or try to appeal to) the mass majority of buyers. Other than a few of their products, when you compare each of their model lines with other comparable amps/speakers, they fall inbetween budget and expensive for that price point, they aren't extremely sq OR spl trended, etc. The exclusions to that point are things such as the MOJO or LVS lines, the MC-300 amplifier (lots of power for how clean it is)...etc.

Basically the majority of their stuff is designed with the everyday driver in mind, small (easily hid or fit) amplifiers, good power handling, good sq, but not too much extravagance.

The thing that puts them over the top is the BADASS warranty. Three years, and it's very rare that they ever complain about abuse unless you bought it from a shitty dealer who hasn't bought much favor with Memphis or their tech team. Of course they won't like getting a sub back with fire/fire extinguisher damage, but they are far more leanient than most companies I have dealt with.
