'93 T&C Instrument Cluster has gone 'Black'Bob Reed 09-26-2004, 07:04 PM Gentlemen, or Ladies: The digital instrument cluster on my '93 Town & Country has gone 'black'! Can anyone help me on this? I've been into it twice and had the cluster's circuit-board panels out, trying to find a bulb, but apparently it doesn't have one. Maybe it's an LED that's given up the ghost? What powers the light that lets me see my instruments? I've looked at fuses, but it appears that there isn't one of those for the instrument cluster, either! The 'upper' panel, the one that sits on top of the dash and contains various warning lights, etc., is just fine. The engine starts-up and runs normally. The 'information center', at roof level, is functioning normally: at least it can tell me how many miles (distance) to empty (DTE) for my fuel. But, I've got no speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure, engine temp, amps, gas gauge, or odometer! The old horse has got 232,000+ mi. on it, and it runs good. Can someone PLEASE tell me what to do to get my lighting back? Thanks - Bob vipergg 09-26-2004, 10:17 PM Gentlemen, or Ladies: The digital instrument cluster on my '93 Town & Country has gone 'black'! Can anyone help me on this? These electronic dashes sometimes get hung up , or you can try pulling the battery cables then holding them to together for about 20 seconds and then reconnect them and see if anything happens . Bob Reed 09-27-2004, 01:32 PM Vipergg - Many, many thanks, my friend! I'll give it a try. Bob vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
