View Full Version : Caver gets high-centered! Caver gets high-centered! Chris_McCracken 02-13-2002, 12:58 PM For the record, after getting tugged off the hill I made it over with no problem using a tad bit of momentum (when I got stuck, I had stopped at the crest of the hill). Hopefully I'll have more photos and video of the trip soon. You can check out more photos from the trip at HXOC's Web Site (http://photos.hxoc.net/gallery/feb02xcursion). http://photos.hxoc.net/gallery/albums/feb02xcursion/high_center1.sized.jpg http://photos.hxoc.net/gallery/albums/feb02xcursion/high_center3.sized.jpg brad77 02-13-2002, 04:01 PM Nice pics! Being born and raised in STL and attending school at Mizzou, I've passed by Ft. Leonard Wood several times. Had no idea of the off-road possibilities, but then I'm newly exposed to 4x4ing. brad Chris_McCracken 02-13-2002, 05:28 PM Pretty much all of Southern Missouri is criss-crossed with old logging roads care of Mark Twain Nat'l Forest. Too bad you weren't out here when you have your Xterra, you could have joined us! rrdstarr 02-13-2002, 08:42 PM 3 more posts and you'll be able to use that pic as your Avatar!!!! That looks like a fun stuck though! No harm to truck! No goo to wade thru! Just a simple nudge with the tow strap! :D Dayspring 02-14-2002, 10:28 AM Hell, you could probably have just tipped his ass forward and he'd have been ready to go. Elroy 02-14-2002, 10:38 AM Yep, it was pretty easy getting him unstuck. Just put a tow strap on his hitch, and my ARB and gave it a quick little nudge. http://photos.hxoc.net/gallery/albums/feb02xcursion/Extracting_Caver.sized.jpg Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
