oil pressure guagehouse20 09-25-2004, 01:03 PM The oil pressure guage on my 99 GC is acting strange the last two days. Normally it sits right in the middle at 40 psi, but now it jumps and stays at 70 psi when driving and looks to me like I'm about to redline at 80 psi. If I take my foot off the accelerator it falls to about 55-60. Is this a warning the oil pump is about to go? The manual says 20-70 psi is normal, but it's always stayed at about 40 psi before this.
