Is there not such a thing? I've been looking for a while but have yet to find one,

I want to find a car lighter that glows RED when its in use, can anyoen help?
Or even a way to do it myself.

Alls I can think of is a lighter plug extension jack that lights up red.

not really what im looking for but you know what i mean right? a physical lighter that glows on the end you push, and lights up while the burner gets heated up.

Oh yeah I know what you mean , cool idea too. Theres gotta be something out there. Ill keep an eye out for how to make or where to buy one at. I already got ideas in my head to make one lol

try nopionline.com and defenatly google/amazon/yahoo it, i think i saw one at autozone or checker, i know that i have seen ones that have a dolphin that lights up but.....yeah thats all i can help with, oh wait i know that somebody makes an led on two, looks like the shift knobs that light up.

I dont think that will work you would have to disconnect the lighter from the power source then how is the light gonna work? I guess if you had a small light built in that took a little battery.

Lucki17 is talking about these lighter plugs that light up when you push them in but they arent a physical lighter. Its just a decoration. I have one myself, there are blue, red and green ones with either flames, skulls, dolphins, spiders, stars... etc.. you should find one of those, and then try to manipulate the light onto your stock lighter.

Hi, I've seen ones where just the front edge of the main part (not the part that pops out) lights up at K-Mart here in Aus, so you should have them there as well. I know this isn't exactly what you were after but I thought I would mention it anyway.
