YA don't assume anything! You might think since i'm Korean, I'm good at violin and Mathematics!
By the way I'm pretty good at math and used to play the violin.

:( :( :( :( I'm so sorry!!!:( :( :( :(

I come from a town that is daddy gives me this and daddy gives me that. And i guess i assume ( yes i assumed) that things were the same with you. I think its because I havent seen any girls in this part that have the knowledge you do about cars and actually put it to use the way you have. I must admit you car is VERY nice. In fact I envy it. It's good that you did your car yourself. I'm still trying to save up the money to buy my civic. I just have a lot of bills because my dad is tha same way your dad is from you have said. The last time my dad wanted to give me money was like 6 years ago, he wanted me to wash his car for him. So i asked him how much would he pay me and he told me 1 dollar. Needless to say i laughed in his face and went back to playing video games. LOL But now i am in college, working, and studying at the same time. Its hard cause I have a gazillion things i have to pay for and dang it, I WANT MY CIVIC! Oh well. It will come in time. I'm thinking about just demolishing my car now just to get a civic. How sad is that? lol

Anyway. Sorry about the comment. I'm on my knees begging for forgiveness. I'm really not a prick. I promise. :p

Well............

I guess I forgive you then. I know what you mean about coming from a neighborhood that the parents pay for it all because that is exactly how it is here! But I am not one of them. Last time my dad gave me money I think I was about 12 and it took me about 30 minutes to convince him to give me $10 to go get pizza and go to the movies but, by then it was too late and my friends left without me. He told me I should just get a job but I think I was a little to young. Don't get me wrong I love my dad and he is a very nice guy but VERY VERY greedy with his money. Anyways, thanks for the compliments about my knowledge and about my car. I get alot of assuming when it comes to my car like for example
"your boyfriend did it all didn't he?"
"Your parents paid for that"
"You paid for someone to do all that to your car, and you had no involvement"
"Girls can't drive"
"Girls can't race"

And my favorite one
"Girls can't have nice cars, so whose is it" (I just say read the fucking license plate moron!)

Well anyways, thanks for the apology and best of luck getting your civic.

I only ever ask questions about the car :(
The only irritating questions I might ask someone would be...
"What's under the hood?"
"Oh PRETTY, Where'd you get that?"
and
"Can I drive it?"
Or things like that... Gender or parents mean nothing to me... Guess cause my parents never paid for anything I have (I've been working since I was 8 years old)

BadAss sounding car GRLRACR... Much props... would love to see some pictures.

Yeah I don't mind those kind of questions at all, I actually love lifting the hood of my car so everyone can see what I got (And I am talking about my car) ha ha! There are pics of my car on the 3rd page of this post if you did not see those. But those pics are not even updated, I have got to get new pics of my car on the internet.

Thanks! Since I don't let anyone drive it I would have to say no, but you could ride in it, but since you live in Texas that would be a far drive to just ride in my car.

SiRacer - I hope the blue tape is just a road racing thing.

As for the women and cars thing - its only cultural. There is a couple in my local SCCA chapter. Generally, she'll beat him by a decent margin (same car). In fact, she won the BSL class at the Solo II nationals (and turned in a better time than her husband).

Killa_CRX - I'm always taken a little aback by people who hesitate to show up at an autocross event. Its SUPPOSED to be come as you are, daily driver racing. There are very few if any large egos in most chapters. Just go do it. All you have to bring is you, your car, and perhaps $20 for most clubs.

Killa, There is an East Texas Sports Car Club (http://www.etscc.org/), however I don't think they run their own events.

The Aggies (http://tamscc.tamu.edu/) have an aggressive SCCA chapter. While I'm not overly impressed with their novice training, they have a great facility and should be within a two hour drive of Corsicana. They usually start late (10 am), so its a very doable drive. I've made it from Austin a couple times, and their certainly a nice bunch of guys.

I've never been to a Houston (http://www.houscca.com/) event, but I hear they rock. They also have a driving school coming up, but I'll bet its booked.

The Metroplex-area chapter is Equipe Rapide (http://autocross.com/er/). However, they race waaaay out in Mineral Wells, so that may put it as far away for you as the Aggies.

Finally, we'd be glad to see you down here in Austin (http://www.spokes.org), but I realize its a bit of a drive.

Sure no problem. Well the guy who painted it, him and I sat down one night and tried to figure out what color to paint it and we had a whole bunch of different colors picked out but they were the same old ones you see all the time, so we came across this color but it was a little darker and he started playing with it and got it to come out lighter. But the actual color comes from a suv that was out in the early 1980's. There is one where I live, it is not in good condition at all and of course the color is a little darker. But that is the story to the color.

Well thanks for the invite.. sounds like a good idea... I've got to spend a few months at my new job though until I get in good there (God I love that I'm going to be selling Hondas for a living) but once I'm up to speed there and have some time on my hands to go to events I'll probably be going all around.
And I do want to get a little work done on my car before even showing my face anywhere... a nice sounding exhaust, some rims (Racing Hart CP-035), lower it a little... But if I'm anywhere near as good at selling cars professionally as I have been at talking my friends into buying hondas, the money to do my mods should be too far away, and you'll see my green wonder rounding the tracks again and again.

I'm 110% sure it is :) I'll explain it for him cuz I'm bored. They tape it up so that if they get into a little fender bender and the glass breaks they don't have to get a whole crew out there to clean it up. Another reason is so that rocks don't chip them ;) Hope I'm right on this one :)

Anyway let me get it back on topic:
