2002 Caster and Camber Allignment

When I bought my truck (about two months ago) I knew it needed the front end alligned as there was evidence of uneven tire wear on the front right. It had new tires put on (probably within 10K miles) and had 42K miles at the time.

I took it in to the local tire company that does all my tire work, and they found that there is no way to adjust the camber and caster allignment on the 2002 Dodge 1500 2WD model.

They tell me that there is an aftermarket kit to adjust it.

Has any one heard of this?

I looked at the upper "A" frame where it mounts to the frame, and sure enough, there is no appearant way to shim it to adjust Caster and Camber.

Seems kind of dumb (cheap) to me.

I just ran across your post and I'm not sure if you have solved your problem or not yet but I do know of a solution. A company called Stempf Automotive has a camber kit available for the newer 1/2 ton Dodges (2 & 4WD). The part # is ST792. Give them a call: 800-328-4460. Hope this helps.
