'91 Rex - Engine Problems!!!

Hey all - my friend and I have a problem with his '91 Rx7 non-turbo. If we accelerate at half throttle or less, everything is fine, but if we step over half throttle the check engine light comes on and engine power cuts. If we back off to half throttle or less, it runs fairly well - but we can still feel hesitation. WTF is going on here? Any tips, answers, or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

well it sounds like your haning a problem when your secondary injectors, but there are a couple of things that i'd start with 1st and number one would be the MAF and number 2 would be the tps sensor but honestly it is hard to say you just got to start somewhere and start eleminating possiblities
