I'm wondering what kind of HP an H22 would give a 93' Accord. I'm pretty sure it's around 190, but I want to be certain. My cousin is doing the swap for my little brother, and I'm just trying to help him get to his goal of 240 whp. Anyone for sure know the exact HP?

2nd time I've posted in "Honda" section, 2nd time I haven't gotten any help. Go ahead and close this thread. For those of you who read and had the same question I did (maybe someone did) it has 195 hp...

Well your post was here for a whole 7 hours and 5 minutes. Some people have jobs...some people don't know your answer...and all people I am sure don't care for your tone. Seriously, not every question asked will get an up-to-the-minute reply. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit longer to get the answer you are looking for. Just because nobody got around to answering your question, doesn't mean they don't care. Although with an attitude like that, don't expect people to answer your future questions all that quickly. Patience is a virtue...I know it can be annoying to wait when you are looking forward to a reply, but when things don't go your way, try acting a little more mature about it.
Secondly, this is quite a common question that I am sure you would have found an answer for just fine, and in almost no time, had you performed a search PRIOR to posting.
For future reference, please try performing a search first, and if you can't find the results you are looking for, then post and give it some time.

I'm sorry Igovert, I just posted awhile ago in the Integra forum and didn't get an answer period, so coming home from school and not seeing a thing kind of irritated me, especially after seeing 10 views, but I'll leave it at that. 97accord, I was looking for the H22A JDM from a 93-94 Prelude VTEC (found out it was 195 HP). Thanks anyway.

Anyone else who knows about this swap and has done it, please let me know what kind of parts I am going to need. My cousin has a general idea, but I'm going to have to help too. I haven't done a swap before, and people say this is an easy one to do, you just need to know what you are doing. Would it be smarter to go to a performance shop and see if they could do it? I know it would cost in the ballpark of $1500 for a shop to do, but my brother has that kind of cash.

Please let me know! I'm anxious!

this link is in 92lx's signature, it is the "Ultimate H22A Swap Guide Book: 90-93 Accord"

It costs $22, but it seems pretty damn worth it, if this is your first swap. Plus $22 for all that knowledge, and you would get the experience of doing it yourself, rather than dropping $1500, and never having the experience of having swapped it yourself. Anyway, hope it helps.

actually written for a 5thgen but it also mentions the difference between the 4thgen and 5thgen swap...lucky for you the 4thgen is easier. Good luck
