There's an ad for 2 12" MA Audio Compeition Series Subs 600 watts rms each, (MA1200XL), in an enclosed box, and a 1200watt ma audio amp, installed and everything for $500.

I think for a bit more money, you can put something nicer together yourself. 600 watts rms per sub is decent, if you're in a low class competition. Are you looking to compete? If so, IMO, you can get better stuff for a bit more money.

the thing that is important is the amps rms, instead of the subs rms. and you could probly do better, but if you do get somethin else, would you consider installing it yourself?

Im not into competition at all i just want something to bump in my car. In fact i didnt even want two 12" subs they take up space i just wanted one 12" sub doesnt have to wake the whole block up just hit lows hard. I woudlnt consider installin it myself, il let someone else do the work. Any suggestions for 1 12" sub with an amp for less than 300?

And yes the 1200 watt amp is 1200 watts rms, so it will match the subs ecactly considering they are each 600watts rms. But any ideas on a good single 12" sub/amp combo for less than 300?

how come they dont have specs on it? I cant find it on ebay either, never heard of it must be a new sub, i wouldnt trust it if its not a known brand. What do you guys think about a 12" Diamond Audio CM3, 500watts rms? or possibly a 12" Diamond Audio M6 with 800 watts rms?

its a known brand. There are specs on it on the site. ts parameters are listed you click the button to the left of the woofer when you select sx.

The SX is 1000 watts RMS, you have to call to find out if there are dealers. A 12 inch SX is $365 plus shipping if there is a dealer within 50 miles of your house and $249 plus shipping if there isn't one near you. RE subs are from what I hear unbelieveable, I plan on buying 2 10 inch SE's when I get the money. Get that sub, you won't regret it.

damn thats expensive lol but the rms rating does sound nice..even though i wont need that much lol :-) Maybe when i get the money in a month or two. Im still looking into diamond audio since i can get a 12" cm3 woofer on ebay for $115 shipped, 500 watts rms, and a 12" M6 woofer for about 150, with 800 watts rms, and from what i heard diamond audio quality is on jl audio's level so i dont know.

Well you could also get the RE SE's which are rated at 600 RMS but can take more. I have heard a few people who have 2 of them running off of a 1500 watt amp. They are only $169 if there isn't a dealer in your area, $250 if there is. The more you pay the better sound you'll get. (in general don't quote me on that)

lol ok il check them out. But do they need a huge box to sound good, i cant take up that much space in the trunk. Anyone know which sub takes up more space Diamond Audio Cm3/M6 or RE SE's?

CocaColaEatsPie

RE SE's don't need a real big box. I don't know much... well anything about the Dimond Audio's so I can't correctly say which would take up more space.
