1999 Buick Lesabre Transmission ShudderGeno46 09-21-2004, 08:37 PM I just had my 1999 Buick transmission fluid and filter changed at 50,000 miles. Now after driving it for a couple of days the transmission shudders when I take off from the stopped position. It does not do it all the time. Any comments what the problem could be. Could the guys who serviced it screwed up something? Does anyone know if Buick has a problem with this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. auto trainy 09-23-2004, 05:43 AM I have the same problem with a 98 olds Regency and my Trans expert said the foward clutch in the trans is faulty, mine only acts up when hot (after hyway driving) It only happens when I take off hard so I dont beat on it and its fine but I too would like to know if there was a problem with these transmissions. trannyman52 09-30-2004, 10:38 PM depending on which version of the 4T60-e trans,,,, line pressure boost is provided by a modulator or a Pulse width module,,,,,if this is not working,,,or ,,adjusted properly the trans will "slip" under heavy load conditions,,,,but it could be the fwd clutch!!! "food for thought" Flatrater 09-30-2004, 11:48 PM The 99 Lesabre has the 4T65E trans. There is a known problem that causes your problem the fix is to replace your pressure control solenoid. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
