I have a 95' ram dually dump truck.
I have noticed a lot of slop in the steering and there appears to be a lot of slop in the steering gearbox. There is an adjustment screw on the top of the gearbox. Was wondering if someone can tell me if it will fix my problem and the procedure on how to adjust.

Myself and Bleed and someone else is having problems with their steering beging sloppy. There is a service bulletin out about adjusting the gear box. Here is the site with the procedure on how to adjust the steering: http://www.dodgeram.info/tsb/1997/19-10-97.htm Hope this helps

Might be a worn out pitman arm on that old of a truck. That's all it should be on any truck anyways, but in these new trucks things have gone really wrong...

I did that adjustment on my 1997 1500 and at first I thought it helped, but my steering is still off. I'm going to do it again, it's just really annoying having to pull the truck in and out of the garage all the time to see if the adjustment worked. It's really easy to adjust. Oh, while I'm here, is there anyway to get my steering tighter by adjusting something?
