'87 Camry seat belt

I just recently bought an '87 Camry. The seat belt will travel forward if retracted manually when the door is opened but will not retract when the door is shut. I have replaced the whole seat belt assembly and the computer under the console. The door pin switch seems to be working properly. Is there anything else I can do to alleviate this problem. Thank you for any advice.

That's really wierd that seat belts arent computer controlled they are just ordinary retractible seat belts. That's a very odd problem.

The seat belt is a motorized type, that comes forward when the door is open, then when the door is shut, the belt retracts.

wow i have an 89 executive and it doesnt even do that, lol
