im know exactly what im wanting to do:
(in case anyone wants to know):
d16 vtec head (mini me swap)
head work (port + polish)
block sleeving and boring
some sort of high comp. domed pistons
skunk 2 stage 1 cam
skunk 2 valve springs & titanium retainers
skunk 2 valves
new intake man.
dc sports headers
high flow cat
zex wet 55 shot (i know its not all motor with this, but i dont want a turbo or sc)suspension and ignition upgrades
new wheels and tires

this is gonna be a long work in progress but i want to have my sohc in the 13's hopefully. i can have hopes too cant i?

the main reason for writing this is for anyone to make suggestions on where to have the block and headwork done. i know exospeed does some. i live in arkansas so ill have to ship it somewhere. unless just a regular machine shop can do it for me. i need to know a proce range for the machine work

also, if anyone has any suggestions on brands/manufactures better than the ones i posted, that would be great.

what block and what head y8 or z6? i dont think u need to upgrade ur valve train all that much for the stage 1. u ver consider stage 2 a more agressive cam since ur running a higher compresion?

yeah i forgot about that. well then all of that with the stage 2 then :smokin:

its a y7. im thinking either an auto to manual swap or complete level 10 rebuild with tranny computer and new internals and torque converter
