maybe its a dumb question but i have a 98 cavalier 2.2. my engine is screwed up. but i wanna knoe if i can swap a z24 engine instead of the 2.2 engine. and is it possible....i need to knoe what i i need to do and roughly how much. i have an engine already to buy. anybody?

the parts you would need would cost way more than the swap is worth. Stick with the stock engine. IF you want a 2.4, sell your current car and get one with a 2.4.

Its very possible, definately the easiest swap you could do in a Cavy. If you can find a 2.4L motor and ECU for cheap, I say definately do it.
