95 JGC Blower same speed HIGH...clr114 09-19-2004, 08:28 PM DOes anyone know where I can find a blower resistor for 95 grand cherokee limited? My fan stays on high and won't stop even if i turn the ignition off. i removed the resister plugs and it stays off until i turn it to high, then it bypasses the resistor and blows full blast. I'm thinking this is the problem. if anyone has the same problem please share it with me. This just started today, 5 days after i paid my truck off.... go figure. Cam7 09-20-2004, 05:29 AM If you have the Ambient Temperature Control it does not use a resistor it has a module to control the blower speed . If you dont have ATC the resistor is located on the blower motor housing. Module is located in the same as resistor. robeson114 09-20-2004, 12:11 PM would this module , cause the blower to stay on even when the ignition is turned off? I disconnected the air conditioning unit in the console and plugged the blower back in and it still blew full speed. odd. I tested teh connections to the module, 2 plugs, and one had 12 volts and the other had 3 connections, each with a different voltage. I am thinking this means the dash unit still works. Has anyone else had this problem? I figure there is 3 possible things to do: 1. replace dash unit...2. replace module... 3. replace blower motor(motor works, but just high..) . I guess my question is , am i heading in the right direction? Cam7 09-22-2004, 03:55 AM Its not the blower motor, sounds like the module or blower motor switch. Dont know how to test module, its probaly dealer item only. Expensive Im sure. clm123 10-02-2004, 05:57 AM I have the same problem with my 95 jeep gc limited I have a new resistor ordered (or module what ever it is) from the dealer it cost 58.00 dollars. I don't know if it will fix it. Did you get yours fixed please let me know what it was. E-mail me at clmoore1@blomand.net vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
