eclipse wipes the floor with a honda.scottsee 09-17-2004, 09:16 PM yeah, pulled upto a 03 honda civic the other day, 4 door ex, with silver tinted windows blitz body kit, and highrise spoiler. stickers all over it, and of course one of those big mufflers. the best part was this kid had "got boost" and "got nos" stickers on the rear window. i was minding my own bussiness when he reved his engien to let the pressure out of his intake pipe so he could show off to me. i looked over at this honda, and studder lunged my car at the lred ight to accept his offer. to make a long story short, by the time he shifted to second, i was 2 car lengths ahead of him. after hitting 65 i let off, and let him limp back up beside me, he didnt show off agian. DSM power! turbo2nr 09-17-2004, 09:33 PM nice run wats the specs on the dsm? 1 Ricochet 09-19-2004, 10:17 PM Congrats on beating a 127hp car! Amazing!!! HighRev87 09-19-2004, 10:24 PM Congrats on beating a 127hp car! Amazing!!! :bigthumb: I cant agree more. macder 09-21-2004, 12:09 AM Yea, you should be racing faster cars then civics w/ your DSM, I own a DSM as well and dont bother to waste my gas on any Honda unless it's a type-R(still have not lost to one of these to date) Ricochet 09-21-2004, 12:28 AM type-r's are slow, try racing one with a boosted dohc engine swap. macder 09-21-2004, 04:44 PM Dont get me wrong, there are some really fast honda's out there, but you dont come accross them everyday. You can make anycar super fast, just how much $$$$$ u need to do it, and how many years are you taking of the engine Ilikecars 09-21-2004, 09:29 PM hondas suck ass macder 09-21-2004, 09:33 PM I'm not a big fan of Honda either, but we all must admit that they are very realiable and economical cars as long as left stock. HighRev87 09-21-2004, 09:44 PM hondas suck ass Some Hondas do. However I find the s2000 to be a respectable sporty car. GritMaster 09-21-2004, 09:47 PM Likewise with the NSX, granted it's price tag may hurt a few wallets. But I definately consider it a top notch car. Hondas are also very good economical cars, great for commuters and what not. -The Stig- 09-21-2004, 10:02 PM hondas suck ass :headshake :shakehead :disappoin Real open minded there. kman10587 09-21-2004, 10:15 PM Yeah, it completely depends on the Honda. I don't like front-wheel-drive or naturally-aspirated four-bangers, but the Civic Type R and Integra Type R are probably fun as hell to drive anyways. And the NSX (although way overpriced when compared to the 'Vette and the 911) is truly something special. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
