hey guys my hatch is having some problems..the check engine light goes and it rough idles to about 2000 rpm..which is pretty high..i jumped the wires to check the code and it told me 3 (map sensor) and 14 (iac valve)..so i replaced it and it still rough idles..does anyone know what it could be?

Is the CEL still on, codes still in the computer? It might be something like the cap, rotor, spark plugs, or wires.

Its a 1995 Civic VX..it has about 105,000 miles on it..i bought the car salvaged..the old owner got into a accident but replaced everything and got a new motor..and its bone stock..but what i thought about doing was probaly slappin on a d16y6 because my friend has one laying around and its a cheap upgrade..will i be able to directly bolt it in using my current tranny and ecu? or do i need to change everything..i know shit about cars but just not civics
