went to murray's, got an 85 inch belt... too long! tried a 75, too short. ended up trying 3 more belts before i ended up with 76.5. tensioner is in a good spot, room to stretch, and all the accessories (except the smog pump!) run perfectly. i even noticed better idle quality with teh pump bypassed, leading me to believe i had emissions problems. now it's just dead weight, and coming out when i have a chance.

i found one that's actually really simple, costs all of 10 dollars plus 5 shipping. it's basically just a couple of resistors that plug into the egr position sensor, and you cover it with RTV. comes with a resistor that you solder into the vaccuum regulator harness and eliminates that too. i read the guys' feedback, all but 2 people were satisfied with it and those 2 had problems with shipping. there were well over 100 feedbacks. supposedly, you can contact the company and they'll help you if you have problems. seems like a pretty good shot to me.

it allows you to completely remove the EGR valve and its associated vacuum lines, and has no adverse effects on the computer.

there's another one on there that is just a plastic cap that you plug into the harness, but you have to keep the vacuum regulator, so the engine bay isn't as clean.
