I have to change the battery on my chevy and i dont have the password for my theft loc radio. I was wondering if there is a stock password that has to do with the vin or another number on the truck, if not is there a way to get it. Thanks

Umm, Pretty sure it's a visit to the dealer and even then the outlook isn't very bright.
Sorry.

There's a guy on ebay that will get you your code for ten bucks. you can search for 'delco stereo' it should be in there somewhere, easy to spot. If you have trouble finding the ebay listing, let me know. I will post the address here.

Keep power to truck with wires from a spare battery while you switch out battery.

theres something a guy at work showed me, simply a 9v battery pugged into the cigarette lighter used to keep memory for some amount of time.
Or you can set your theft loc code to something you can remember.
