2002 civ LX 2dr 5speed, light mods. Those of you that have gotten them, what did you think? Could you tell a difference?

Lightened flywheels will lose torque in the low rpm range but will spin faster. It will adversely affect the car in bumper-to-bumper traffic.

how much worse is it in traffic? Is there a noticable performance benefit to it?

Usually goes hand in hand with a new upgraded staged clutch

I would assume it wouldnt be too bad on an NA setup. Not bad to pickup if you only have light mods.

But as for boost + an 8.5 lbs flywheel and clutchmaster3 = horrible bumper to bumper traffic. Also = bad gas mileage, because, more gas is required to give it the hee hoo from a stop. accelerates awesome when its already on the go, but, from stop and go driving it is however, do-able and bearable. But as for me, NEVER AGAIN, it is a definate no-no on my list.

My recomendations to anybody boosting or planning to boost and considering a new lightened flywheel is-------------> just stay with the stock one ;)

Might as well upgrade clutch while you're at it.
