I know its stupid but I have searched for it but didnt find it.. my transmision's rear gear is blown up :screwy: and I can get a transmision from a 91 golf gaz motor ( i dont know what motor it is) I got a 95 jeta Diesel so ..... can some buddy help my plz thx :banghead:

I'm pretty sure it will physically work, but they will have different ratios. It will affect things like top speed and fuel mileage. Get the three letter code off each unit & you can comparethem at this site that you can use to figure how it will affect the performance.
