RazorGTR 09-16-2004, 01:32 AM We're not going to have one sorry. It causes too many issues and with all the legality around these cars around the world it is best left out at this time. But ya the states I believe U have to get people to mod them down... If that makes anysense. Becuz they R too heavyweight for the Yanks. May not be correct tho. InfestedShadow 10-10-2004, 09:47 PM oh you wanna bet ? Skyline_R32_Canada 10-11-2004, 12:00 AM oh i sure do InfestedShadow 10-11-2004, 04:39 PM ok i'll send you pics when i'll get it with me beside it. InfestedShadow 11-06-2004, 11:47 PM I left the skyline world...i've seen an R34 and, ewww, i'm leaving the plans of getting one... but my friend still want to get one so i'll bring pics of him instead of me. he told me he's getting it in around 1 month HighOctaneNOSUser 11-20-2004, 04:54 PM So you were planning on getting one, then when you saw one, you thought otherwise? Strange. Oh well, post your friends pics when he gets it. PS, how is he getting one into Canada? MotoRex? Because you have one rich frined then. I am getting an R34 when I am....23 I think? that makes em 15 years old.... Skyline69 11-22-2004, 11:47 PM I have a 89 Skyline Gts-t Type m and it's the greatest car i have ever driven. i only have one question where the hell are the v.i.n. numbers??? my insurance company said they are going to refuse to insure me if i do not they are going to cancel my policy. i gave them the one the ministry put on my ownership. but because it's not 17 digits or letters they cannot accept it. does anyone know where to find the true v.i.n. on my car so i can tell them to stick it. Where did you get your car from? Do you live in Canada? I know Canada has like the 15 year rule...............I'm not sure what number you should give them..........Have you told them it is over 15 years old???? If you live in the US then you are screwed and will have to pay Motorex or have your car crushed.................... :iceslolan InfestedShadow 11-24-2004, 12:19 AM 1: I didn't get the car 2: I just stopped loving it, I love the mitsubishi 3000gt better now...and cost less, maybe i'll get the skyline when i'll be older. 3: and to get one in canada, you need luck, money, good asurances, and a paper from the goverment( that's what the luck's for ) and btw, i'm from Quebec region, we have some different laws from Canada HighOctaneNOSUser 11-25-2004, 06:39 PM Really? Does it make it easier or harder to get em in? InfestedShadow 11-27-2004, 02:26 AM I didn't bought it so I don't know, I just know you can get one in QUEBEC. HighOctaneNOSUser 11-27-2004, 02:38 PM Ask your friend, since he is intent on getting one. Driftkingz 12-05-2004, 04:12 AM no you can't import one into canada.. well that's a lie you can as a show car but you have to have documentation stating it's a show car and it can't remain in canada for longer than three months then it has to leave north america. YES NORTH AMERICA ..oh and you have to put down a hefty deposit before you can bring it in. or you can do what some retard did and import one in anyways and have it chopped in half. Driftkingz 12-05-2004, 04:27 AM I'm talking about r33's and r34's Driftkingz 12-05-2004, 04:30 AM oh and you can't get them in quebec either .It's customs canada not customs alberta. quebec may do a lot of things different but they still fall under federal legislation. HighOctaneNOSUser 12-05-2004, 10:57 AM Ok, not yet we can't get R33's and R34's in. Wait till...umm...2014 and I'll have my LEGAL R34. So ha! Lol. Ps, don't post whore, just edit your post. shawn_carter69 04-20-2005, 05:59 PM oh you wanna bet ? I'll take some of this action, no way u get an R34 in Canada Kerbie 04-21-2005, 05:30 PM Not gonna happen. There is no way to bring an r33 or r34 into canada. You can currently get r32s in Canada. I know of at least 1 in Winnipeg and there are dozens in the country. There are also lots of GTS-t Skylines in Canada too. There are 4 in Winnipwg alone. I would get one. They aren't that much, but i dont have enough. You can get an 89 GTS-t for about 10-12 grand canadian. An R32 is gonna run you 30 to 40 Gs. My guess is, even if you could somehow get an R34 into the country, it would A) cost you an assload, B) not be able to be registered and C) CCRA would fuck with you for quite a while, you would be marked as an illegal importer (thats just speculation of course) Chilleh 08-21-2005, 09:52 PM i dont get that 15 years thing.... does that mean, the skyline has the be 15 years old from when it was made? and then we can get em in canada? thats gunna take a dam long time.... shawn_carter69 08-22-2005, 02:30 PM thats exactally what it means. the car has to be 15 years old form the date of production, so an R32 made in august of 1990 is legal right now, one made in swptmember of 1990 isnt legal until next month. So R33's are legal in late 2009 and R34's in late 2014, or so. jcsaleen 08-24-2005, 04:27 PM In canada 15 us 25 years.... I see your still using that clip I made 4 you guys  shawn_carter69 08-25-2005, 02:13 PM I see your still using that clip I made 4 you guys  of course i love it! Chilleh 08-30-2005, 02:12 PM oooo.... is there a possible way to sneak in an r34 sum how to canada oh and umm im plannin on gettin a r32 cuz i cant wait another 10 years =/ can the r32 match up to the 34? shawn_carter69 08-30-2005, 03:09 PM both GT-R's sure, i mean it's gonna depend a lot on driver ability, yoiu arent gonna get wasted like if you were driving a civic. I mean the R32 is gonna be older so there could be some slight frame.chassis weakening, but unless it was rat bagged by the previous owner you should be ok. personally i think that if u can drive, u shouldnt have a problem with an R34. But hey thats just my opinion. Chilleh 08-30-2005, 05:08 PM ..... my fav car err i mean cars are, r34 and rx-7 i like the r34 cuz it looks nice but i cant get it up here legally then i thought of gettin the r32, its in perfect condition, all the parts were tested, and yah, whats the big difference between the 32 and the 34 anyway? beside the model change and year nismo_power 08-30-2005, 07:40 PM maybe you should wait until you have some actual driving experience before you decide to get a car you cant handle. jcsaleen 09-01-2005, 11:25 AM maybe you should wait until you have some actual driving experience before you decide to get a car you cant handle. You make it seem like it's this Super High-power monster and it's not at all. 276 whp with 4wd :) The GTR was designed to be a racer but still have the drivability like a porsche. & shawn - new link for the pic finally... http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/8484/mcrvsreava5mi.gif shawn_carter69 09-01-2005, 03:18 PM woot woot! thanx man!! nismo_power 09-01-2005, 05:19 PM You make it seem like it's this Super High-power monster and it's not at all. 276 whp with 4wd :) The GTR was designed to be a racer but still have the drivability like a porsche. & shawn - new link for the pic finally... http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/8484/mcrvsreava5mi.gif the car was not designed for new drivers. a car that powerful is a huge liability. driving experience will definatly help you be able to handle it more. i would say the same thing for any wrx, evo, rx7 or any other powerhouse. jcsaleen 09-01-2005, 05:25 PM the car was not designed for new drivers. a car that powerful is a huge liability. your killing me man... 276 crank or wheel power an 4wd... My uncles 97 GT2 modified isn't that hard to control at all. 415 crank power twin turbo modified. The car isn't that light either. 1410 kg isn't exactly light. nismo_power 09-01-2005, 05:28 PM the point is its not for a new driver. 4wd is a whole different beast from 2wd. jcsaleen 09-01-2005, 06:08 PM the point is its not for a new driver. Oh then 100% agree with you on that though. Not for newbs. nismo_power 09-01-2005, 10:11 PM thats what my whole comment was. not new to that car, or that powerful of a car, but new to driving period. jcsaleen 09-01-2005, 11:33 PM Nismo - Like the sig it looks sweet. nismo_power 09-02-2005, 02:08 AM haha i try. i wanted to get it longer, but i couldnt really do it since the picture pretty much cuts off where it does now. im a n00b at photoshop. jcsaleen 09-02-2005, 11:15 AM Let me know if you need help with it. A key trick for stretching is to use the warp brush. If I may though, I'd highly recommend using paint shop pro 8. For many reasons. I've worked for years now on photo's and photoshop you might be able to do more stuff but for begginers such as your self paint shop pro 8 is the way to go. I still use it even though I have Cs2 (newest photo out) It's just alot more user friendly. Let me know if you want it... I can send it to ya. Lata Jc nismo_power 09-02-2005, 12:24 PM yea i got PS CS. i can do most things, but im not that great. i still use different programs for gif animations haha. if you want to help me out thatd be rad. but ill check out paint shop pro for sure . jcsaleen 09-02-2005, 12:39 PM Ok I'll definetly help you with this stuff. basically paintshop pro instead of having the brushes an stuff hidden it's all right out in front of you. As for Gif animation I use Jasc animation shop 3... Here's some of mine... Clip http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/7913/skylinegif4yg41ug.gif Sig http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/3387/mclarensig4ec9fq0og.png Vid http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/1039/mcrwin4yd.gif nismo_power 09-02-2005, 12:46 PM i was going to try and make something like that mclaren sig you got, but it didnt turn out so good. jcsaleen 09-02-2005, 12:57 PM lol... Well trust me it's happened to me more then once. Thank god for the undo button (ctl+z) I'll do some widening like what I did to this one... It was about half that width... http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/2412/s13sig7ju2vb.png jcsaleen 09-02-2005, 01:01 PM Also how wide do you want it? & the car position right - center or left? nismo_power 09-02-2005, 01:06 PM heres a blank copy i just started. im trying to think of what to put on the other side, like a fat front mount, or get a picture off advans website of the rims. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/242676sigcopy1-med.jpg shawn_carter69 09-02-2005, 02:05 PM holy off-topic batman!!! lol jcsaleen 09-02-2005, 02:25 PM holy off-topic batman!!! lol SHHH! Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
