Hi,
My 99 camry V6 LE, gives me some problems once in a while when I try to start, while the engine is warm. The starter does not seem to do anything, but if I press the gas pedal, while I tunr the ignition it starts. This problem happens very rarely and I changed the battery and it became even less, but it does still happen once in a while and I am afraid someday it will stop starting. I am guessing the temperature sensors or some sensor that controls the fuel to the engine.
Any help is appriciated.

Don't touch the gas pedal when you try and start it. It might be your shifter lock-out that prevents you from starting when the shifter is not in Park. Sometimes the lock-out malfunctions. A problem that intermittent and infrequent is impossible to solve logically.
