View Full Version : Questions for opening a shop. Questions for opening a shop. SwoosH 09-14-2004, 05:30 PM Thank you, Anthony crcrazee 09-22-2004, 04:27 PM First off have A LOT of Savings to handle your personal bills for at least a year. Incorp so the liablilty doesn't fall on your personally, get a business licence for your area, a good accountant to file all your paper work. Employees?!?! :banghead: Check ALL references and watch them like a hawk. I wouldn't limit myself to just imports.....open yourself to all markets. LOTS of advertising! Take money up front and make sure customers know what are special orders and what that means! Spell it out for them. Just be prepared to be without a paycheck for some months, after all it will take you a while to get up fit and your doors open. Good Luck! It is worth it in the end...just stick with it! SwoosH 10-07-2004, 07:31 PM Thank you so much! :) I plan on doing whatever I have to do. What all will I need? I just want to open a small shop to start with :) Telemain 12-09-2004, 10:03 PM if I may say so...its not always the best thing to Incorporate if I were u I would open up a Limited Liability Corparation so u will have control over all ur creativity for your shop and wont have someone telling u wat u can do and wat u cant do Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
