SRHguru 02-11-2002, 06:09 PM Drive it hard... Have some fun!!!!! That is what hondas are good for!!!!! sloth01 02-11-2002, 06:23 PM I used to shift at 3-3.5k until i got a few miles on my car. Now it seems running at a higher rpm is just more fun......by the way that 'louder sound' is your Honda coming alive:) SublimeLAD 02-11-2002, 09:36 PM I agree with SRHguru...honda's engines can take a beating...have some fun Darkwing 02-12-2002, 03:05 PM yeah, damn drive it as hard as you like. I have a 95 EX and have punched it to the redline about half the times I come to a red light and am 1st in line. My car still runs like brand new. And you might just pick up a race or two while you are at it! btw- I FINALLY BEAT SOMEBODY!! yeah! An old ford escort! lol :D he wanted to race, and so I said fine! and handed him his ass. I think I beat him by 3 car lengths and he only raced up to 60mph. wimpo!! ha ha. made my day though :) so rev it up man! go for the gusto!! 1st gear is all you need :D lol, ok, so shift once you get to 35mph, but have fun, Hondas rule at taking a beating and keeping on running! Darkwing 02-12-2002, 03:10 PM hey, sublimeLAD, I looked at your car, its looks awesome, can you PM me or something some more pics? I would like to see more :) peace! Lord_Vektra 02-12-2002, 03:58 PM Whats the point of vtec if your not going to let it kick in SRHguru 02-12-2002, 08:07 PM Whats the point of vtec if your not going to let it kick in Well, I would say letting the vtec kick in would be cool, but the LX's do not have a vtec engine. Lord_Vektra 02-12-2002, 08:23 PM must have missed the lx part I feel dumb now vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
