I am replacing a leaking water pump, timing belt and tensioner. I am not able to remove the crankshaft pulley bolt. Any suggestions? Is it a regular thread or reverse thread? Thanks for your input!!!!

Its a regular thread. Lefty Lucy Righty Tighty. Bottom line is you must be able to secure it stationary to be able to exert enough force to break to tension. There a re several good ways to do this-I used a length of steel cable routed through one of the holes in the pulley secured around the frame.
