if you have turbo ls/vtec, how much more hp would that add. say i was running, 8psi, TD04 w/ bmc turbo manifold, how much hp can get? I am going to post this in the "Let's Get Technical" thread too.

If i won the lottery today, how much more money would i have? How much money could i get?

How about you search and find out how much stock LS/Vtec make, and then calculate 8-14hp/psi and do the math? That's a rough estimate though. Every engine is different, it also depends on the turbo.

too bad i have done a lot of research on turbos, and everything that has come up - they have said that there are certain turbos for certain hp and certain engines. i hate when people are cocky. Anyways, I dont even know how much boost my turbo can make, and can it stay consisten without burning up. i dont know these things, HENSE me asking. thanks :banghead:

Not to sound arrogant.. however if you use www.google.com and read a little, you would know the answer to most of your questions. Learn how to read compressor maps, and variations of those maps and you'll be able to guestimate your whp with X and Y engine.

However, I've seen a couple LS/VTECs. My friend Dave made 430whp on his. Forged internals, stock GSR head, 2.0L GEM sleeves.

Another guy I know Ron. Who just shattered his prodrive oil pump gear... put down 500whp/350wtq. This was on 20psi with a fairly large turbo.

In reference to your sig. A stock LS engine can hold 280-310whp. Safely.

My friend just re-dyno'd his last night, and put down 298whp/260tq @ 15psi on his new GT35R turbo. :D

Stock LS rods, and JE 9:1 pistons, no headwork.

298 @ 15 psi was on the LS head, correct?

I switched from a T3/T67 to a GT35R and I love this turbo, amazing boost response and still fantastic top end pull.

there is lots of 300,400,500,600, and a few 700whp hondas on honda-tech.com. Its not hard to make 400whp on a ls/vtec. Just takes some money.

I have a friend that races in ProAM (sport fwd) he put down 690whp at 24psi on a ls/vtec.

Shit, did you seriously think he was implying that he made 430 WHP naturally aspirated?
