Speakers

I need to replace the speakers in my '98 Jimmy. I want to replace all six of them.

Does anyone know what size the speakers are? How hard is it to remove the door panels and get them back on properly? Will I need an adapter kit to use aftermarket speakers?

I wanna say the speakers in dash are 3 or 3 1/2" while i am almost positive the ones in the doors are 5 1/2". You shouldn't need a kit for speakers to make them fit right, most are compatible with anything in some way or another. As for your door panels I would say yes they are hard to take off b/c i have yet to get mine off while trying to do the same thing you are.
