Becareful...With the amount of that putty, it looks like it may crack, and shrink with time. Yes, I know it will be sanded, but still. Did you CA the bumpers to the car either?

I'd suggest reforcing it. Also, check into some two part putties, like Tamiya Epoxy Putty, Milliput, etc.

White...yellow if you want oldschool.

I was thinking about white but the only problem is the kits door panels and dash are molded in black and I dont think that primer would cover it that well

sure it would, use tamiya primer. i've used it in the past when painting dark molded pieces white and worked fine for me. but personally, IMO, i like gtmike's idea, yellow interior but with some blue accents.

Paint looks good, I think to make the front bumper look more realistic you should cut out the plastic grille and leave it open or use some mesh or screen if you want a realistic grille look. just my :2cents: :smokin:

I was planning on using some mesh. I really dont want to open it now because that would involve another paint job

If you use the back side of a #11 blade with some paitence you can take it right out with little to no scratches on the bumper, you can even spray some paint in the cap to use it as touch up paint. I've had that happen to me where I wanted to cut it after the paint and was not sure if it would need another paint job but I risked it and it was worth it, I say go for it. but either way it's lookin good. :smokin:
