my accord is crapping out and i am looking into subarus for my next car. if my concerns are, in order of importance, reliability, all wheel drive, speed, and i don't want to spend more than 5 or 6K would i go for an impreza or another? and please don't tell me i can find this info by researching, because i have been researching and am looking for opinions of people who know what they are talking about and can understand where i'm coming from: i like to drive fast / hard. if not impreza (can't find many in my price range that seem reliable), outback? forester? legacy?

Old school Legacy, man. It's what Subaru used to rally. There are plenty of them around for cheap, and you can get 'em to go pretty quick. And as for the sig, Bobby Ray Gasshall has a radio and a friend in a helicopter. :-)

depending which town he protects :) i'd never run in a city (not that i would ever run w/ my car... but if i had a fast car), but in my hometown for instance, there sure as shit isn't a copter, and at night there may be two cops driving around the town, if i had an sti or something no way in hell they'd catch me

i'm waiting on the word from my mechanic, i'm bringing it to honda today or tomorrow. depending what kind of work needs to be done i'm gonna choose if i keep it or not. i really want to keep it because i have brand new kyb agx's and h&r sports in my apt staring at me....

new stuff is probably better than new (to you) car, anyway
