Finished: Celica ST205 GT4potsie 09-06-2004, 02:49 PM A few photos of Tamiya's 1/24th Toyota Celica ST205 GT4. The kit is built pretty much out of the box. Nice kit, with good engine detail. Shame about the wheels :disappoin. I know they are accurate to what came on the car, but boy do they look awful. I intend to replace them with something nicer later. Paint is a Halfords' automotive - Ford Emerald Green I think. Will take some outdoor pics when I can. Hope you like, Grant. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/39504Celica_GT4_01-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/39504Celica_GT4_02-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/39504Celica_GT4_03.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/39504Celica_GT4_04-med.jpg p.s. sorry for the 'doctored' last photo. I wanted to see if I could get the see-through-bonnet effect, and I was pretty happy with how it looked. Thought I'd share! Pots. Spitfire7 09-06-2004, 03:15 PM Nice, i always liked celicas. ol' dude 09-06-2004, 04:10 PM Good color combo!! The green looks great!!!!!!! SkylineMan32 09-06-2004, 04:24 PM You and your Gf like those Ford colors. I'd just paint those wheels high gloss silver or Aclad or Testors chrome. Did you paint the interior or is it raw plastic, it looks like it needs a shot of dull cote. Otherwise sweet kit I've been looking for it but no results, an my 16 cars in progress. RallyRaider 09-06-2004, 07:02 PM Looks great Pots, I like the shade of green, almost Jaguar Racing Pearl Green. "Doctored' photo is cool too! The interior sheen is okay to my eye, condidering a flash was used. Some leather has a lustre like that. I've got a cople of these kits stashed for a rally car converison (the illegal one!) some time in the future. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
