my friend is selling a 79 carborated 3.8 trubo buick regal
i know its not the GN motor but it is close, how much of an aftermarket support is thier for this motor or is thier any

i would love to buyit and make a total sleeper out of it but i need to know before i get into trouble and have something i dont want need or like

Honestly, that motor is not even close to a GN motor. The time, trouble and expense it would take to convert that motor to fuel injection, not to mention intercooled, wouldn't be worth your time. Your best bet would be to find a true GN drivetrain, or just tweak the '79 and try to get it to run good, knowing it will never, without MAJOR expense, run like a GN. If you can buy the motor cheap, you could sell the turbo crank out of it for $200-300 if it hasn't been cut.
