On the I10 to LA, Calif had mine to 155 mph. The car didnt really have any more than that. I can say that is felt alot better than the 140 I did on my kawasaki ZX6R.

i got up to 137 or so in fourth but havent had the chance to tap into fifth, not alot of safe roadway here. But by that comparison im geussing we all have close to the same gear ratio.

This is a noob of supras question, but can anyone say for sure what gear ratios there are for the mk3 for each era and N/A vs turbo? I've heard that n/a is 4.3 and some turbos are 3.9 some 3.7. Also does anyone use the N/A rear end?

For just the MKIII? All n/a's are 4.3:1, sport package got a 4.3:1 LSD, 87-88 turbo's got a 3.909:1 LSD, 89-92 turbo's got a 3.73:1 LSD. There are two other jap MKIII gear ratios and alot of toyota 8" ring/pinions to choose from. Some use the 4.3 rear end, but topping out at 155ish and cruising at 4Krpm's on the highway is not what most people want.

That's exactly what it was made for, the suspension geometry, aerodynamics, the weight. The Supra is a GT cruiser, a highway machine, if you have ever been in a rx7 at 150+ then do it in a MKIII you'll instantly know.
