hi
my 95 jetta which i baught a few days ago has been running great and gave me no problems till today ,the sppeo stopped working and so did it stop showing the rpm but it shows ate amount of miles i have travelled..
any idea as to what the problem is?

If both the tachometer & speedometer die at the same time it is probably a fault in the cluster itself as they get signals from different sources.
