Opinion on alloysBalddog 02-08-2002, 01:44 PM What does everyone think of these for a black civic coupe? They come in 4 colours but I think the silver would go best. http://www.afsmotorsports.com/wheels/Velox/vx8-s-oncar.jpg http://www.afsmotorsports.com/wheels/Velox/vx-8-s.jpg 00'Civic SR 02-08-2002, 02:04 PM I like them. Those Velox wheels should look good on your car. Balddog 02-08-2002, 02:07 PM Guy over on the civic forum just bought a set and they look great. Unfortunately the company selling them on groupbuycenter doesnt ship to the UK and the buy has finished now  00'Civic SR 02-08-2002, 02:28 PM I'm sure you will find something like it in the uk. Maybe team dynamic diablo's pictured below. They even come in the proper offset for civic's. http://www.team-dynamics.com/Press/diablo_silver.jpg Only thing is they are getting very popular. They look pretty light too. Veetec 02-09-2002, 12:45 PM Originally posted by TheMasterG Nice rims, I like 'em. They look pretty light too. Iīd bet that theyīre kind of heavy!!:D I think one of the best (street-legal) lightweight wheels you can get in europe is the O.Z. Superleggera. Personally Iīd buy it immediately if they would offer it in 7x17". But they donīt.... Balddog 02-09-2002, 12:47 PM 19lbs if i remember rightly..Thats for 17x7.5 Veetec 02-09-2002, 12:54 PM Originally posted by Balddog 19lbs if i remember rightly..Thats for 17x7.5 19lbs? Thatīs about 8,6kg, isnīt it? They have got the same weight like my 16" stock rims. Where can I order them?;) 00'Civic SR 02-09-2002, 01:06 PM Originally posted by Veetec Iīd bet that theyīre kind of heavy!!:D I think one of the best (street-legal) lightweight wheels you can get in europe is the O.Z. They also have a 18x7" which weighs 8kg. http://www.oz-boutique.com/OZ_wheel_imgs/lrg/front_wheel_004.jpg Balddog 02-09-2002, 01:06 PM Ive had a look at their site and I cant find where I read 19 lbs so im not sure anymore. Ill keep looking though. Veetec 02-09-2002, 01:10 PM Originally posted by 00'Civic SR I love those O.Z. wheels as well :D They now come in a 17x7" with an offset of +45 perfect for your lude Veetec. Where have you found them???? That would be cool because I might get a very good deal on them! 17"x7 would be perfect!!:) 00'Civic SR 02-09-2002, 01:24 PM Click HERE (http://www.oz-boutique.com/OZ_html/fitment_guide.asp?model_ID=174&make=Honda&year=2000&wheel_ID=4) for details. As far as I know all O.Z. wheels are cast/forged in Italy so we should be able to get them in Europe. Balddog 02-09-2002, 01:28 PM Those OZ wheels are very nice. Wont go well with my civic, only an offset of 37 on 17s :( The 18s will rock on a lude tho Veetec 02-09-2002, 01:30 PM Originally posted by 00'Civic SR Click HERE (http://www.oz-boutique.com/OZ_html/fitment_guide.asp?model_ID=174&make=Honda&year=2000&wheel_ID=4) for details. But it seems to me that it is only available in this size (17"x7) in the states. Neither the german O.Z. website nor the original italian one is offering them!!!:( 00'Civic SR 02-09-2002, 01:31 PM The 37 offset for the Civic is a pain although they have a 18x7 for the Civic in a 42 offset which is perfect. If we had better roads in Ireland I'd probably get them. 00'Civic SR 02-09-2002, 01:36 PM Originally posted by Veetec Thanx for the link! I do know that O.Z. have just recently introduced a load of new wheels. I would love 18s but I have no idea how to roll the arches and im pretty sure they would rub like hell as standard. 00'Civic SR 02-09-2002, 01:43 PM With a 215/35 tyre I'm pretty sure you wouldn't get any rubbing even lowered 35mm. A 17x7 wheel with 205/40 tyres is a diameter of 23.5in, a 18x7 wheel with 215/35 tyres is a diameter of 23.9in. Only 0.4in in the difference. Not that much difference. I do know that O.Z. have just recently introduced a load of new wheels. Maybe I should just give them a call and ask them! But Iīm not really sure if I would buy them yet because I like the way how my Lude is looking lowered on stock rims, too! (Iīm changing my ideas all the time! :D ) bracer 02-10-2002, 05:16 PM Nice rims Balddog, very nice. but those Superlegera's.... I've wanted those since the day they came out. If only they were available in 16" whith a +45 offset... Veetec 02-10-2002, 05:41 PM IMO the O.Z. Crono Evolutions are damn nice, too! But theyīre looking very heavy to me...:( civic_1.6_16v 02-10-2002, 05:50 PM Originally posted by Veetec IMO the O.Z. Crono Evolutions are damn nice, too! Goosse 02-11-2002, 02:22 AM I think these are only availeble with an 37 or a 38 offset http://www.folieseal.nl/oz-chrono.jpg Nice rims tough. civic_1.6_16v 02-11-2002, 03:01 AM Originally posted by Veetec True!
