Been looking at this model, drove it, liked it, comfy, smooth driving and very smooth handling. 19k New. Worth the purchas for a daily driver? The salesmen who filled me in on the truck was great, and very knowledgeable on the truck but I wanted to get some opinions from someone who actually drove one for a while befor I commit to a 5 year loan.
Basically I just wanna know if its goign to last me atleast 5+ years and how reliable/durable they are. I will just be using it as a daily driver other then for some minor hauling for home projects and what not.

Well I bought an '02 Ranger extended Cab with the FX4 package and I tell you I will probably keep this truck forever. I mean< I am a Dodge man more than a ford man but I could not sit comfortably in a Dakota. As for 19K, that sounds pretty resonable if you would like to trade since mine after tax and warrenties and the other bs the final price was about 26,000. But after 12,000 this truck might just last forever.
P.S. Word of advice, make the dealer sit on the truck until about the end of the month, thats when they will strick a better deal just to make the sale for the month. Also get the premium care warrenty, that way it covers your ass and you get a rental car for a week if you take it to the shop. Hope this helps
