First off i have to say very nice. I like your idea, good job. Only thing that i'd change on the chop is to make the color less saturated, because it seems very darkish/saturated with color at the moment, if you lighten it abit and desaturate it abit, i think it'd fit into the background more.

Or

You could allways darken the background, change the little bit of sky to have stars or somethign, and just generally darken the background so that it suits the color/saturation of the car at the moment.

Ya passed me up a long time ago in that department.. I,m still to careful on realism.. Maybe I need to get over that and make somthing thats a bit more striking to the eye like that ! My chops are plain Jane..

GS pretty much covered crits on the overall and I agree.. You can overkill colors way to easy with the adjustment tools. Ya have to play with all of them over and over again till right.. And think agian when you plop it into a differert backround.. Suddenly it aint right!

Cool chop, very nicely done. Is there any chance you could post your CF pattern? I just reinstalled Windows, and thus, Photoshop and I don't have mine anymore :(
