It's time to reevaluate our involvement.

Every day there are news reports about more deaths. Almost every night on TV are photos of death and destruction. Why are we still there?

We occupied this land, which we had to take by force, but it causes us nothing but trouble. Why are we still there?

Their government is polarized, and there is no experienced political leadership. Why are we still there?

Many of the people are uncivilized and don't speak English. Why are we still there?

There are more than 1,000 religious sects and almost as many languages and dialects, many of which we don't understand. Why are we still there?

We can't even secure the borders. Why are we still there?

They are billions of dollars in debt and it will cost billions more to rebuild, which we can't afford. Why are we still there?

It is becoming clear..................

We must abandon California.

That is a good one but I have one for you!

Dear Abby,

I am a crack dealer in Beaumont, Texas who has recently been diagnosed as a carrier of HIV virus. My parents live in Fort Worth and one of my sisters, who lives in Pflugerville, is married to a transvestite. My father and mother have recently been arrested for growing and selling marijuana. They are financially dependent on my other two sisters, who are prostitutes in
Dallas. I have two brothers, one is currently serving a non-parole life sentence at Huntsville for the murder of a teenage boy in 1994. My other brother is currently in jail awaiting charges of sexual misconduct with his three children. I have recently become engaged to marry a former prostitute who lives in Longview, she is a part time "working girl". All things considered, my problem is this: I love my fiancι and look forward to bringing her into the family. I certainly want to be totally open and honest with her. Should I tell her about my cousin who supports John Kerry for President?

Signed,

Worried About My Reputation

Yeah without a doubt, the USA is incompetent to take care of it's own land, and God willing Iraq will not become yet another part of the USA. Should return those troops and take care of domestic problems shouldn't you :screwy:

Here's another

Once upon a time, a Sultan was blessed with the birth of a son after years of hoping. The boy immediately became the apple of his father's eye.

Just before his son's sixth birthday, the Sultan said to him, "Son, I love you very much. Your birthday is coming soon. What would you like?"

His son replied, "Daddy, I would like to have my own airplane." His father bought him American Airlines.

Just before his son's seventh birthday, the Sultan said, "Son, you are my pride and joy. Ask what you want for your birthday. Whatever it is, it's yours."

His son replied, "Daddy, I would like a boat." His father bought him the Princess Cruise Line.

Just before his son's eight birthday, the Sultan said, "Son, you bring so much happiness into my life. Anything you want, I shall get for you."

His son replied, "Daddy, I would like to be able to watch cartoons." His father bought him Disney Studios.

Just before his son's ninth birthday, the Sultan said, "Son, you are my life.

Your birthday is coming soon. Ask what you wish. I will get for you." His son, who had grown to love Disney, replied, "Daddy, I would like a Mickey Mouse outfit."

His father bought him the Democratic Party

Is George W. Bush the worst President in history?

The following Letter to the Editor appeared in the Durham, NC paper.

Liberal Democrats claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war. They complain about his prosecution of it. One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst president in U.S. history. Let's clear up one point: We didn't start the war on terror. Try to remember, terrorists started it BEFORE 9/11.

So let's examine the "worst" president and mismanagement claims made about George W. Bush.

• Franklin D. Roosevelt led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us: Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per year.

• Harry Truman finished that war and started another in Korea. North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of 18,333 per year.

• John F. Kennedy escalated the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.

• Lyndon B. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.

• Bill Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us. Clinton was offered Osama bin Laden three
times by Sudan and did nothing. Consequently, Osama attacked us on multiple occasions.

Now let's compare this to the Bush record. In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people. We lost 600 soldiers, an average of 300 a year. Bush did all this abroad while not permitting another terrorist strike at home.

Is George W. Bush really the worst president in U.S. history? Come on! The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking, but consider this.

• The war in Iraq took less time than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.

• We've been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for far less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

• It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Teddy Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

• Finally, it took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida!!!!

Why do you wonder what the death rate is are you planning a move?

Were did you get your facts on the US blowing up all the services? Iraq has water, power, police and an army you are very mis-informed.

It sounds like you prefer to be beaten, raped and then killed by Saddam and his sons more! Or are you again thinking about moving to Iraq?

actually i work in the oil business so yeah i would have thought about it before the U.S. made it a combat zone!

services huh? what propaganda have you been listening to?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3922055.stm

i think about the death rate because if the U.S went into iraq because Sadam was such a tyrant and killed so many and they all lived in fear... i think it's important to measure the outcomes based on that (given the other reason was WMD and they weren't there) or would you prefer to not compare pre and post U.S involvement? and the degradation of a civilisation that has existed for thousands of years?

oh yeah...beaten raped and killed... i forgot the beatings and rapings.... those pics from the prisons say it all i guess....

but i don't think the U.S ever did have to follow human rights legislation... thats why guantanamo is such a wonderful place.

Hey, the crap at Abu Graib was NOTHING. A few picture of people in humiliating situations. THAT IS NOTHING compared to what the Hussein family foisted upon Iraq. Don't even compare them. There IS no comparison.
