Hey all,

I have been looking all day for a 5 spd S13 or S14 and can't find any. I did find a few, but they had all been sold :(

Anyone got one for sale in the Virginia area? I need one asap :D

I'm from Jersey and it took me almost 2yrs to find a nice low mileage s13 for under 2g's. It was a bitch just keep looking and when you find one buy it because around here they sell in about 1-2 days.

I paid 2g's for mine but its auto. HOWEVER, its only got 62k miles on it and the digital speedometer w/HUD so I have no problem converting it to standard :)

took me about 6 months to find an s13 coupe I liked, and I ended up having to drive 14hrs to get it. Went from Massachusetts to North Carolina. But it was worth the wait, just perservere and you'll find a nice one. :)

Where did you end up finding one? Here are the sites I have already checked up and down...

Ebaymotors
Autotrader
Cars.com
240sx.org classifieds
240sxforums.com classifieds
dragva.com classifieds
freshalloy.com classifieds

any others you all know about?

I was searching Ebay and AutoTrader relentlessly. I ended up finding a coupe on ebay I liked so I called the guy and got him to sell it to me. Just keep lookin' man, that's all you can do. Good luck

i live on the eastcoast and youre right. it is pretty hard to find a 240sx thats in good condition and is for sale. i remember about 4 years ago i saw a 92 240sx h/b for sale. dude wanted about 2 grand for it. i didnt get it but recently i just found a 89 240sx coupe for sale by a private seller and took it. you dont see too many 240s for sale at dealerships. my best bet is to go look in one of those books where they have a ton of cars for sale by private sellers like the want ad or something like that. i remember lookin in a few of them and findin some 240s for sale. some runnin and some not but they offer pretty good deals.

last time i checked there were quite a few of 240s with less than 100,000 miles, there's a company where i bought my 240 from and they usually have good stuff. My 240 had 100k miles and it was in mint condition, until someone made a u-turn into my car =(, anyways you can give this company a deposit, like 500 bucks that it totally refundable, and they will look for a car for you, all you do is just give them your exact specifications (mileage, what kind of car, hatchback, etc.), sounds a little weird but i can just give you the website right now, they have a bunch of s14's and last time i checked they had a nice s13 on their with 80k miles, this is where i bought my car from so they seem pretty legit.

I just found a 240 in new york. (and purchased it) I'm in Tennessee. I also bought one and drove 17 hours to Texas to get it. I searched all over the east coast. anytime I went places, i stopped at all the dealerships. vacation to florida, went dealership hunting. i ended up finding both on forums.

sooo, just persevere and good luck man.

btw: both were hatches and both were 89's.

There was a guy near my house in Western Mass with a small custom car shop who has had two 240SXs, one in auto, and the one I bought, a manual. Sure, it has 133k miles, but for 1000 bucks, it is a kick ass project car. Thing still handles and drives beautifully too. I'm kinda glad I waited on the first one he had, this car has given me some good practice time with the car, driving a manual and all.
