Jeep neon kit and LCD washer help!

Hey all, I have been trying to hook up a neon line on my dash and LCD windshield washer sprayer things into my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

On my neons, it says to hook up my neon wire up to my running lights, but I cant find the damned wire. Would anyone be able to give me hinters towards where?

And, on the washers there is the hood heat shield that the water sprayers I want to change are hooked up to, so does anyone know what screws or whatever i need to adjust so i can take off the washer itself or the hood heat shield?

Thanks

U dont have to hook up ur neons to running lights...u can basicly hook them up to any power source you'd like such as ur battery or any fuse. Like my interior neons that are under my seats are powered by my cigarette lighter fuse and my underbody neons are powered by my battery.

you just buy a toggle switch and then wire it up and find a place where the toggle either fits or a place to hide it somewhere under the steering column. This makes it so you don't need to have wires running out of a cigar lighter and it looks cleaner and is simpler. Installing it is perty easy usually they have instructions on the back. If not i can explain the hook up. i've never seen neons on a jeep b4.

lol, i am just putting them in my jeep around my deck and stuff, not extravagant. Then also the L.E.D washers look pretty good on SUVs...so i tohught why not. Well, ill try all that stuff. I just need to find the light's wire....otherwise ill need to figure something else out (the switch). One more question your way....if i did the switch, what would its power source be?

like i said...before...the battery or a fuse.

Alright, I understand everyting but the power, the way to hook it up is i have to clamp a plastic claw onto the other wire and then hook it onto the neons. So can I basically pick any wire comming out of the batter? It says I need to find a 12v hot lead on any running light.

like street glow said pos on the battery or hot lead (+ side of an active fuse) for power.

LOL. im in a similar dilemna...I have the Hood LEDs on and installed except for one small problem, i have no idea where or how to run the wires from the hood...into the car and under my seat. I have an LED underglow kit installed but didnt do it myself, had it proffessionally done. It looks nice and i have a wireless remote and toggle switches to change the 10 patterns of the neon. But i wanted to gain some experience and install the hood neons manually, can anyone Help me? Oh and I drive an '02 neon...and no its not stock its completely modified.

if you want to have them turn on at the same time your neons do you simply need to find the power source coming out of your toggle or the powerline after you box for controlling the pulses, this way when the toggle is on power is sent to the led's just like the neon's, and if you do it after the pulsing box they will pulse with the rest of your neons.

and for the light running in try to find a grommit to go through the firewall and then run it under your molding to your switch so there aren't any wires out. Grommit's are little rubber insert into the firewall that can be drilled through to run your wire. good luck
