ever since i bought my 240 ive been seeing alot more 240sx's lately. Im glad more people are buying them but they r ricing them out. I see alot of them with huge wings and have completed kits. Is it just me or is other people seeing this happen to 240s?

hahah i've seen plenty of riced out S13 hatchbacks. thats okay though since there are tons of them. i have yet to see a riced out S14 in person. so it doenst' bother me.

I see some people buy them and just automatically start thinking they have a super-fast car. Some kid near me has a SOHC auto and believes he has the fastest car around. I think the 240sx windshield sticker has him fooled. They are cheap, reliable, and pretty fast in all categories so people will buy them.

i saw one that looked like a 70s daytona. with the long nose and the huge ass wing in the back. me and my friend saw it 4 times in one day. it kept on reving at us. sounded like a riced out POS handa.

i saw one today that i thought was just funny. 240 coupe wit 4 wings on the back. one on the roof 2 on the back and another rising btwn the 2 on the back. funniest thing ive ever seen on a 240 :cwm27:

yes iv noticed this also, but its good to have "some" riced out ones because when you do yours right it makes you look that much better, and like you know wtf your doing. So the riced out gay guy feels cool in his but no one gives him no attention, then you pull up in a clean nice looking 240 that maybe "fast" or just has that potential look and people will ask about it. Leaving the other guy all confused because he thinks his looks cool. does that make sense? Dont know how many people come up to me and wanna talk about 240sx's just for shits.

Mine gets alot of attention and its only been repainted and rims added since I got it. I have seen some really nasty ones though and that just disappoints me because I already know theres nothing under that hood thats been changed since it came out of the factory(well with the exception of the air filter :biggrin: )

It's a shame what some people do their 240s. I mean there is nothing wrong in building your car up to add an individual touch to it. Just don't buy the same thing everyone and their mothers have. Myself I like to keep the other guy wondering what I have. My first impression of these "nip/tuck 240s is that they are all show and nothing else.

Of course thats all they are, especially when they have huge metal wings that are like 10 inches off the trunk of the car and bodykits that arent painted in the same color. It does really disappoint me though....

What would be really funny is to rice out an extremely fast 240. Nobody would see it coming. Ultimate sleeper.
