How do we disable safety door lock???

My 97 Grand Cherokee is possessed. After reaching 15 miles per hour the doors lock like they should. Then they continue to do so when ever they feel like it. There dosen't seem to be any method to it, just when ever. Sometimes it goes on for ever and then not at all. What do you think???

I have a 98 and it was a factory preset that the doors locked at a certain speed. You can take it to the Jeep/Chrysler dealer and they will recode it so it doesn't do that. It should cost about $50.00.

Are you saying they keep cycling the locks over & over? Or it happens randomly? Elaborate a little more please. We can program when they lock with the scan tool easily but if they are cycling there is another problem there.

It happens randomly and then it will cycle several times. Not only that, the interior light will come on, I disconnected the fuse for the lights. It happens only when the vehicle is in motion. At any speed, going straight, turning what ever. Two weeks ago I took a road trip and it did it all day at random times. 8 hours of driving on the interstate. Yesterday I took a similar trip and it did not happen. That's why I say it is possessed.

Yah, forgo the trip to the Jeep dealer for reprogramming, I had no idea your Jeep had a mind of it's own. Here's my next suggestion, call a preist. He can do an exorcism. If you can't afford a preist, just waive a dead chicken in circles over the thing, that sometimes works.
