After a disapointing visit to the shop (a failed inspection due to a hole im my downpipe). After the mechanic told me what a stock pipe cost i was definatly going to find one for less than that. I found a performance one at 3sx. For half the price of the stock one. After i got the pipe installed and my car reinspected. I did alot of driving around and i couldnt keep my foot off the gas pedal. For my 91 na 3000gt it was a nice boost in power. It also has changed the sound of my car at an idle i would swear the cars not even on. Im not into moding out my sl but if a part goes on your car check out 3sx for a performance peice thats probably cheaper than stock and will give you better performance.

Kudos to 3sx for making a good product that gave me more horsepower and saved me a couple hundred dollars off buying a stock pipe that would have made my car run the same.

How much power do u get out of an SL with that downpipe?

i got the 3sx downpipe too.... also bought the race pipe and borla N/a exhaust system... thinking about puting my CAT back on to make it legal though! DOnt need a ticket for that... other than that it sounds GREAT and deffinatly adds some HP!

What's great is that I live in Iowa, no emissions tests. So when I get my downpipe, I'm getting the race pipe too :)
