Every time that I turn the steering wheel in my 98' RAM 1500 V8 magnum i get a clunking noise coming from the front driverside wheel and I can feel it through the floor board....I replaced bad wheel bearing, brakes and it also had a cracked wheel drum. I also replaced a loose trac bar that in that side..i still get the clunk just as bad..can anybody tell me if that is normal or please give me some suggestiona...I heard that the front end and suspension in those are bad....is this true?

Is your truck 4 wheel drive? I would check the ball joints and tie rods also if you haven't already. Check your control arm bushings too.

Try checking your shock tower some times the spring will spin and make that feeling. Thats what was wrong on my dad 97 ram 1500

GOOD LUCK

I had this same problem with my 98 Ram. It turned out to be the swaybar links. wasn't that expensive and not that hard to change.
