Where is the best place to get a body kit for my 1993 240 sx??
And what colour should I paint my car???? Its an aftermarket green right now but needs bodywork so I'm just gonna go big.. Stay with this green or what??

i got a few suggestions for you....

why don't you get some of those kickass race seats, like some blue or red ones... and those cool 5 point harnesses that keep you in real good and look cool, strap yourself in.... get about to about 105 mph..it would be more fun in 4th gear... find a cliff or deep body of water

my front end = fucked, as in i need 2 new fenders and a bumper (lots of dents) and i dont care because im saving for a turbo kit, IMO worry about performance not looks, dont get it painted, get a turbo instead, lol

LOL YES!! the dents are more aerodynamic and the rust holes make you lighter!!!

exactly....besides then people wont expect your car to be race worthy...until you smoke them at the lights.......do all the engine/performance work first and then go for visual appeal.....the looks don't make the car go any faster

I agree 100% with you, but i like my car to be nice and shiny! Im thinking of getting mine repainted, cause the red now is kinda dull, and isnt glossy. I would still get the same red, but i want it to see my reflection!

I'm not fortunate enough to have real car people to hang out with. Body kits are gay. I don't think they really work for the 240. Do a sil-eighty if you are going to modify the exterior. Trust me, if you spend the money you would use for the body kit on an exhaust or intake, you won't regret it. Face it, the car is beautiful stock (other than that spoiler you get with some of them). Go before show. Its so much easier to make your car look fast when it actually goes fast.

i never said i wasn't planning on doing both... i have the turbo mostly taken care of, besides maybe some minor details (which i may ask some people on this forum) so by december, my car will not only be a turbo 240 but it will look good too.

your turbo is mostly taken care of, what kind of parts u got? whats your setup going to be? just wondering. And y not find a kit u like and a color you like? why does it matter wtf we think? or did you forget to tell me your going to give me the car after you build it to what specs i like? it just seems like your trying to hard to be "accepted" as "cool" or something....i think thats y the flames were thrown on you. But we successfully pissed them out so your not up in flames anymore.

If you're looking for a mature response, then listen up. Any good tuner knows that body kits and wheels are very very personal things for your car. It's not your idea if you get it from someone else! Go and search long and hard for the PERFECT one, and never settle for anything less. If you settle for less or get a kit because it's popular or someone else thinks it's cool, you're just cheating yourself. Wheels are very important as well. They can make or break the car. I see so many people buy their friend's old rims just because they look alright and are cheaper. That's so unoriginal and tasteless, how can people stand having that on their car after their friend did for so long?!

Anyways, my point is that you should not listen to all the flamers in here and just go find your own kit. I've never seen a kit for the S13 that I would buy. Ever. Iv'e seen alot. But maybe you will find that perfect one, and no one else will be able to tell you different. 240 Newbies need some direction, not negative reinforcement.

To me a "body kit" entails a 16 foot spoiler, side skirts you could land a plane on, a front end that looks like a star wars fighter, a rear end with mesh to make it more "aerodynamic," and z3 fenders.

BUT yesterday, i found a guy who would do the sr20 swap for cheap cheap so if i was gonna do the swap then i'd sell the turbo parts i have and get the front clip..
