Powerplants: Protege 1.6 or 2.0 DOHC I4 Transmission: 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic Drivetrain: FWD (and possibly AWD in Japan, I don't remember) Locations: Japan, Asia, Europe There is a new Premacy arriving during this year, though. Now powered by the new Mazda MZR fours (of 1.6, 2.0 or 2.3 liters) and built on the shared Ford/Mazda small car platform, it may come to the US as the Mazda 4.
