AvAlAnChE1090 10-27-2004, 08:19 PM CORRECTION!!!! The 2003 Dodge Viper Hennessay 1000tt does a 0-60 in 1.85 sec and a 1.4 mile at 8.93 sec @ 149.65 mph! panchoman 10-27-2004, 09:06 PM Holy damn crap NOW THATS A FREAKING CAR....john colletti made that one 94 boss 429 concept that had like 855HP and did 0-60 in 1.9 seconds, i was super amazed with that car, but this viper just made me go pee pee in my pantaloons AvAlAnChE1090 10-28-2004, 01:42 AM yeeeeea its the best viper klint02dodge 11-08-2004, 05:37 PM WOW 1000HP MAN that is a lot :eek2: AvAlAnChE1090 11-08-2004, 06:10 PM your damn right it is. drift_drift 11-09-2004, 02:53 AM I LOVE viper.... It's so cool.... but it's so bad that its not available in SG, and if so... it's gonna be unaffordable. A 350z here already cost over SGD140,000 with a road tax of over SGD4,000/yr for a 3.5L. I will nvr be able to own a 8.5L here...... so sad.... drift_drift 11-09-2004, 02:56 AM Anyone here owns a Viper?? ferrarifan 11-22-2004, 09:46 PM I don't own one yet, but I'm looking! Just let me know if you see one cheap! as in 35,000 or less. Dupont Registry has some good deals, but I'm also in between jobs so I don't have much money. :grinyes: Trying to earn up enough to get new car preferably used viper. Samurai75007 11-22-2004, 10:43 PM AvAlAnChE1090 "CORRECTION!!!! The 2003 Dodge Viper Hennessey 1000tt does a 0-60 in 1.85 sec and a 1.4 mile at 8.93 sec @ 149.65 mph!" So if this is so how do they only say- "Power Output: 800 - 900+ Rear Wheel HP (900 - 1,100+ Flywheel HP) 900 - 1,000+ Rear Wheel Torque (1,000 - 1,200+ Flywheel Torque) Acceleration (Stock 6-Speed Transmission): 0-60: 2.25 sec. 1/4 mile: 9.75 sec. @ 148+ mph" And on there own web site. http://www.hennesseyperformance.com/hennesseyperformance/ItemDetail.php?Item_ID=142&cart=BRfAmvDY&DoThis=Dodge+Viper+SRT10&ActionReq=Where panchoman 11-22-2004, 10:57 PM i say OWNED AvAlAnChE1090 11-23-2004, 12:49 AM I say NO the 2002 model hennessey model of the viper http://fast-autos.net/hennessey/hennessey1000tt.html Samurai75007 11-23-2004, 01:02 AM 0-60 mph: est 2.0 sec 0-100 mph: est 5.0 sec You see that est= estimated, they don’t know how fast come back when you have actual facts. AvAlAnChE1090 11-23-2004, 08:28 PM who about, WHO GOVES A SH*T! I don't! Its a fast viper, end of story. steviewonder_13 01-21-2005, 08:33 PM HOLY S*** that mother f***er sounds bad, i luv vipers personally, but i am only 13 and i'm not precisly sure what makes them so fast, well obviously the gigantic motor, but i know that ain't it, 0-60 in 1/2 that is awsome, I saw a Viper GTS rollin down a street, man sounded awsome my bro raced him in a t-bird, 97 LX 370 HP, got smoked but it was awsome, VVVVRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM. v10_viper 01-24-2005, 12:38 AM There is no way that is done on street tires... Reason for a Viper being fast?? Good power to weight ratio, nowhere near the best by any means but it's good, and it has massive tires on it. Obviously the engine is a torque monster too so be careful in the lower gears. And yes...Vipers do sound awesome... 5 Point 7 02-17-2005, 08:32 PM I was expecting Brad to drop a bomb on this from the beggenning. Being Henny and all...j/k Viper 10 03-10-2005, 01:20 AM I was expecting Brad to drop a bomb on this from the beggenning. Being Henny and all...j/k I haven't visited this site in many moons, but it is obvious that many of you have drank the Hennessey Kool-Aid. Do a search on Hennessey in this forum and you will see what he is capable of (from the standpoint of unethical business practices). I'm not even going to give Hennessey the satisfaction of responding to how Henessey caters to the dyno jockeys and the magazine whores. Let the buyer beware... Brad v10_viper 03-10-2005, 03:44 AM When's the most recent time that he's done something unethical, even though it's out there he still has customers. I'm really getting sick of people bitching about him, did he deny you a car?? I don't think so, I mean I understand that's wrong but I'll give the man a high five any day of the week, even if he personally screwed me over, because he builds great cars and I enjoy ever new tuned Viper he comes out with. Everybody screws you in the business industry, it's just that he was a bigger idiot when he did do it, and he's the first person I'd go to if I personally owned a Viper and I had the money to tune it. Screw SVSi, and Doug Levin is also an awesome tuner, but Hennessy does go beyond just the engine when he builds a car. Maybe you've become ignorant of his cars Brad, which I can respect your opinion on that, but the suspension on his first tuned SRT-10 was said to be much much more refined, yet better performing on the track. Have you not yourself made mistakes in life?? I think it's time to give the guy a break and let him keep tuning those fine Vipers. driftmaster200 03-10-2005, 10:34 PM 1000TT Upgrade + New Viper Coupe=Street legal race Car :) v10_viper 03-11-2005, 01:36 AM 1000TT Upgrade + New Viper Coupe=Street legal race Car :) HAHA....fuck that...can you say a street legal disaster?? Traction would be something that would become unknown in a Viper with that much power. driftmaster200 03-11-2005, 03:40 PM Hennessey upgrades the drivetrain to handle that power but getting all that power to the road is up to the driver and his ability to control something with that much power. Skyline_BNR34 03-25-2005, 04:59 PM dude the viper is kickass no matter what and if hennessey could make an available 1000tt upgrade then hell yea but that would most likely caost a couple hundred thousand but i cant wait for the great american muscle 2005/06 coupe not sure the year it is going to be SnakekanS 03-29-2005, 06:40 PM AvAlAnChE1090 "CORRECTION!!!! From what I know, no other car touches that. tasattack 03-30-2005, 05:46 PM thats one snake i would hate to be bitten by. know the net weight by chance? jcsaleen 03-30-2005, 05:52 PM thats one snake i would hate to be bitten by. know the net weight by chance? Well with the layout and all (turbo) probly another 50-100 from the stock weight if they replace the body paneling with carbon and remove some of the interior features then you would probably be down a hundred atleast. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
