I have a 74 duster, 60 Dana spool 4.88 gears, 727 on a brake 5,000 ATI hard hit converter, 451ci, 440-1 indy heads, H-beam rods13.5-1 compression, .540 lift flat tappet cam, 14/33 tires, 850carb. full race, fenderwell headers..possible going through the traps at 6,200-6,500. I am hoping for somewhere into the 10.20's is it possible?? The vehicle will probably end up around 3,000-3,000 lbs!

It's possible, but you may have too much gear. The Duster is a light car, and your engine should have a lot of torque. Your goal should be traction. Use a pinion-snubber and good shocks out back, and at least an 11" tire out back. Dial in with the 4.88s, but a set of 3.91s may actually pick up a few tenths...

the car has a ladder bar set-up with koni dual adjustable coil overs.. it has 14 in wide 32.5 inch tall tires...we estimated the vehicle to weigh about 3,000-3,200 lbs/ after installing all parts... we plan to run a three speed and go through the traps at about 6,500rpm...This vehicle will leave wheels up...the engine will probably be moved back about 8-10 inches...

yea but we got this one for free, besides the duster has a lot of overhang, we are also looking for a volare, we plan on putting a 440, liberty trans, dana 60, just to go race and have fun, it won't be consistent but it'll be a lot of fun

If you figure 600 hp as a round figure at the crank, yes it will run 10.30
in the 1/4, based on 3200 lbs, but you will need to pull some of that
gear out of it, that gear will be pulling 7000 rpm going out the back door.
Also on your engine, if your heads are ported you will need more carb,
1050 dom will work fine for you. Have fun
