thud noise in front leftringersoll1869 08-23-2004, 06:29 PM Hi guys, I'm having an issue with something. In my front left wheel, there is a thudding noise mostly noticeable when I go over speed bumps or when I'm just coming to a stop and the cars settle back. Can anyone tell me what this might be? Thanks goosewind 08-25-2004, 12:52 AM Had the same problem with my 93 S-10 blazer and discovered a missing transmission mounting bolt gone on the left side. After I replaced it I never heard that thumping noise again going over any bumps or tight turns. mjs22 08-25-2004, 08:32 AM had that happen in a 1991 blazer. Turned out to be a rotten lower control arm. In my 2001 my ball joints needed to be greased to get rid of an intermitent clunk. Good luck. Sounds like a stabilizer bar and end links could be bad. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
